    Job Description


    • Acts as custodian of monies on behalf of the school system, makes out deposit slips, deposits monies, collects tuition, and insurance payments, and computes and records cash.
    • Prepares, enters, and records all receipts of funds in appropriate journals.
    • Prepares monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
    • Support annual audit as directed by the Administration providing information as requested.
    • Processes leave requests and maintains appropriate records in cooperation with the Payroll Specialist.
    • Maintains Business Office Petty Cash Fund for the needs of the District.
    • Assists Payroll Clerk and Accounts Payable and performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Business Manager.
    • Cross-trained in all business office functions.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • High School graduate
    • Education or experience in business
    • Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable functions
    • Previous experience with computers desirable
