The primary function of the business manager is to provide financial information and discuss the best options for the financial success and sustainability of Hearing Plus LLC. A college degree in Business/Finance is beneficial, but not necessarily required. Experience in medical/insurance billing is beneficial but not necessarily required. Business manager must be proficient in the following areas: Manage receivables/payables/QB accounts, payroll and general business functions • File all types of insurance billing/forms • Coordinate any patient refunds • Follow up on/secure reimbursement from insurance, private pay patients, TPA’s and bills to be paid. • Coordinate collections and payment negations • Maintain audiologist licensure records, in-network certifications, online registrations for CAQH and other required sites, etc. • Main records for liability insurance and other insurances as required to maintain business and licensure • Attend business meetings as requested by owner to further enhance clinic business and long-term goals • Assist front receptionist with data entry of patient records • Maintain patient files • Maintain yearly business files • Assist CPA agencies with year-end tax preparations and requests for information • Other duties as assigned
