    Job Description

    Join the positive and enthusiastic environment at the James Valley Community Center!  The City Community Services Department is hiring a part-time Office Assistant!  This position  is responsible to enter information into a computer database, receive and process payments for services, answer phones and greet customers, provide information and assistance to members and guests.  This person communicates with staff and volunteers to help provide services, take transit ride reservations, and perform various duties to assist the day-to-day operations of the Community Services Department.  Must be skilled in using computers, scanners, fax, copier, and credit card machine.  The person in this position will work 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. Starting wage is $10.30 per hour (2023) and $11.70 (2024).
