Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human services or related field or equivalent years of experience
• Experience with preparation and management of grants
• Ability to prepare budgets and experience with financial management
• Background or interest in domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse issues/prevention
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks)
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Grant management – writing, research, tracking of federal and state grants
• Work with Client Services & Outreach Manager and Development Director to prepare local and private grants/sponsorships
• Prepare budgets and oversee financial transactions for shelter and visitation center
• Maintain appropriate separation of responsibilities to reduce risk of financial mismanagement
• Prepare financial documents for reporting purposes on a timely basis
• Responsible for payroll, payment of bills, deposits, and acknowledgement of donations
• Attend all required board and staff meetings
• Display open, honest, and ethical method of communication with board of directors and staff
• Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors
• Maintain complete confidentiality of client and staff information
• Coordinate training opportunities and continued education to self
• Oversee shelter and visitation center maintenance and repairs

• Travel required: valid driver’s license and dependable transportation needed
• Ability to adjust hours as needed to cover events and needs of the position
