    Job Description
      LifeQuest of Mitchell, SD, which is deeply vested in its mission for all people to succeed and be valued, is looking for a talented and motivated person to be a part of its Executive Team – Business Manager.

    LifeQuest is group of people working together to create a circle of supports for people with disabilities so that they may learn, grow and have what they need to live a good life.

    The Business Manager is responsible to manage the fiscal operations of the agency.  LifeQuest operates on a multi-million-dollar budget.  The Business Manager is tasked with the oversight of budgeting, accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, purchasing, service billing and payment receipt, and other operational tasks.  In addition, this person will serve as the financial contact person with other businesses and governmental organizations. Training and experience with computers is necessary as the Business Manager is responsible for various in-house Information Technology systems and operations.

    Experience with working with people with developmental disabilities is desired, though not necessary.  Belief in the dignity, and advancement for all people is important.   Minimum of one year of professional or management experience in a community based non-profit agency preferred. 

    Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
