    Job Description
    Support Specialist I:
    General responsibilities: Write programs for annual goals and outcomes.  Monitor and assist with the implementation of the service plan for people which includes housing, family relationships, social activities, education, training, finances, employment, health, recreation, records, and other individualized areas of a person’s life. This position is part of the LifeQuest Weekend/Holiday On Call rotation.  
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, special education, social services, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the area of developmental disabilities. Belief in the dignity and advancement of individuals with developmental disabilities is important.  Must have the presence, stature and personality to effectively represent LifeQuest to the public and other professionals. 

    Typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional evenings or weekends as warranted
