• DWU to Hold Blue & White Days Parade

    MITCHELL — Dakota Wesleyan University’s annual homecoming parade is set for 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, on Mitchell’s Main Street.  Businesses, organizations, clubs and youth groups are invited to participate.
     
    The theme for the 2021 Blue and White Days parade is “Show Your DWU Spirit!”  The spirit theme encourages parade participants to wear blue DWU apparel and decorate with blue and white Tiger flair.
     
    There is no fee to enter the parade. Registration is due by Sept. 24.  To register for the parade, visit www.dwu.edu/parade.  
     
    Plaques will be given to first, second and third place, as well as honorable mentions.  
     
    DWU Blue and White Days is scheduled for Sept. 20-26, starting with Coronation on Monday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m., in the DWU Sherman Center. For more information about DWU Blue and White Days, visit www.dwu.edu/bwdays.
