    LifeServe Blood Center is the SOLE supplier of blood and blood products to Avera Queen of Peace Hospital and Grassland Clinic in Mitchell.  LifeServe Blood Center is urging donors to schedule an appointment to donate blood to help recoup blood donations as blood drive cancel in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.  Maintaining a stable blood supply in the weeks and months ahead is critical to our community’s healthcare.  Our number one priority is a safe and adequate blood supply supported by healthy volunteer blood donors.  If you are healthy, we strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment in the next several weeks to guarantee a strong supply as the weeks press on.   To make an appointment call LifeServe Blood Center at 800-287-4903 or schedule on-line at www.lifeservebloodcenter.org.
