    LifeServe Blood Center is the SOLE supplier of blood and blood products to Avera Queen of Peace Hospital and Grassland Clinic in Mitchell. LifeServe Blood Center is urging donors to schedule an appointment to donate blood to help recoup blood donations as blood drive cancel in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. Our number one priority is a safe and adequate blood supply supported by healthy volunteer blood donors. If you are healthy, we strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment in the next several weeks to guarantee a strong supply as the weeks press on.
    LifeServe Blood Center is assisting in the fight against COVID-19 by testing blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies to help understand the spread of the virus and to help identify individuals who may be eligible to provide convalescent plasma for critically ill hospital patients suffering from COVID-19.
