The 5K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 8:00 am. $25: Celebrate the Fourth of July and the American farmer with fitness and fun. This event is in memory of Mark Hohn, who lost his life in a farming accident. The proceeds will go to the Mark Hohn Hoof Hauler Scholarship fund at Mitchell Technical College, where a $ 1,000 scholarship is awarded each year to a student pursuing a degree in agriculture. This family-friendly event will begin at 8:00 am at The Resurrection Lutheran Church, 4013 N. Main, Mitchell, SD and take participants through the north side of Mitchell Lake.
