Veterans Day Celebration & Program

Join the Mitchell community for a special Veterans Day Celebration as we honor and recognize the brave men and women who have served our country!

The celebration will feature a Veterans Day program with guest speaker Mel Olson, a retired history teacher and former South Dakota legislator. Attendees will also enjoy musical entertainment by soloist Teresa Gillen.

The program will include recognition of the Veterans of the Year, Soldiers of the Year, Auxiliary Member of the Year, and three Quilt of Valor Awards.

A meal will be served before the program, and all veterans eat free!
