Full-time K-12 Vocal and Instrumental Teacher

Mitchell Christian School is seeking a full-time, K-12 vocal and instrumental teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.  The possibility of beginning sooner can be discussed.  

• K-4 music classes (3 times a week)
• 5th-7th grade chorus (every other day for 40 minutes)
• 5th grade band (2-3 times a week)
• 6th/7th band (every other day for 40 minutes)
• 8th-12th grade chorus (every other day for 50 minutes)
• 8th-12th grade band (every other day for 50 minutes)
• Lessons
• All-State contests, group and individual contests throughout the year

The individual must be certified in the state of South Dakota and/or willing to obtain certification or alternative certification. A passion for music, knowledge, and experience in the area of vocal music and instrumental music is required.  The candidate must have previous experience in working with children of all ages.
