This position is in Mitchell, South Dakota. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
What will you do? Brazing and Soldering copper tubes and pipes together on and off assembly line.
Starting wage: $ 24.82/hr.

This position is in Mitchell, South Dakota. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
What will you do? Brazing and Soldering copper tubes and pipes together on and off assembly line.
Starting wage: $ 24.82/hr.
- The brazing process is similar to soldering. Under direct supervision - responsible for various types
of Brazing/soldering of copper piping together as part of the refrigerant or water plumbing system. - Join pieces of metal together by first heating them.
- Using nitrogen when brazing refrigerant system
- Use of Jigs to braze copper together
- Use of vortex tubes to cool key components in the brazing process
- Clean brazed joints of flux
- Check units for leaks if required
- Excellent Attendance & punctuality while being dependable, responsible, and arriving on time.
- Good organizational and communication Skills.
- Ability to maintain records accurately & follow directions.
- Must Work well with others & get along as a team and work with other departments as needed.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. & possess physical strength for moving equipment & metal.
- Must pay attention to detail and have good quality soldering to prevent leaks in the field.
- Must be accurate, meticulous, and get things done in a timely matter.
- Must be able to work with little supervision and keep up with the fast-paced production line.
