Maintenance Mechanic

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. a leading manufacturer and distributor of office products solutions is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Toner Products Division located in Mitchell, South Dakota.

Position Summary:  

Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems in manufacturing equipment and plant facilities.

Responsibilities:

•  Maintain and repair onsite mechanical equipment/devices. May be required to dismantle, adjust, and assemble equipment according to layout plans or operating/repair manuals.
• Responsible for installing complex mechanical systems. Must use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checks on devices, to ensure peak operating performance. Fabricate parts in support of emergency repairs or cost reduction programs.
• Perform routine inspections and maintain daily records as required. Maintain safe and clean working environment. Adhere to maintenance schedules, manufacturing policies, and safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED. Additional vocational courses a plus. Must have appropriate licenses/permits as required by the State of South Dakota
• Three years of experience in the maintenance mechanical field
• Demonstrated experience/skill in the following: read and understand blueprints and assembly drawings, welding, plumbing, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, lubrication and plant utilities
• Good written and verbal communication skills with good math aptitude
• Ability to life 50 lbs
