Countryside Living Adds Additional Nurse to Staff
[Mitchell, SD ] Countryside Living is pleased to announce the addition of another Registered Nurse to the staff at Countryside Living. Holly Cousins who has been with Countryside since August, completed her R.N. Refresher Course and has already hit the ground running with various nursing responsibilities. Cousins will work with health care facilities in Mitchell and the surrounding communities and assist with resident activities while providing residents with outstanding service and support.
“It has been my pleasure to get to know the residents and their families over the last few months. I look forward to being able to serve them in an even greater capacity as a nurse,” said Cousins.
Cousins brings with her 5 years of experience in the health care industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree and a bachelor’s degree in English Education with a Spanish minor from South Dakota State University. Her previous experience includes serving as an R.N. for the Brookings Health System and United Retirement Center both in Brookings, and Sanford Health System in Sioux Falls. Additionally, she worked with fourth-semester nursing students at SDSU as an Adjunct Lecturer.
For the past 8 years , Cousins worked as a teacher at Mitchell Christian School where she taught English and various other classes to high school students.
