There’s news on Mitchell’s Main Street.

The Daily Republic’s office is moving to 514 N. Main St. in Mitchell beginning in June. The change follows the sale of the newspaper’s current building at 120 S. Lawler St. to Brian Price, of Mitchell, owner of On Sight 24/7 Security Systems.

Through work with the Mitchell Area Development Corporation, The Daily Republic has signed a lease to utilize the Main Street office, which for decades housed NorthWestern Energy before it moved to South Burr Street. The Main Street facility is owned by the city of Mitchell and will receive improvements to fit the newspaper’s needs before staff members move in. MORE
