“Full Deck for Freedom” Campaign Collecting Games for Mitchell National
Guard Troops During Military Appreciation Month
MITCHELL, S.D. — In honor of Military Appreciation Month, the community is invited to support Mitchell’s own service members through a donation drive called “Full Deck for
Freedom,” benefiting National Guard Troop 665 Maintenance Support Company based in Mitchell, South Dakota.
The campaign is collecting decks of playing cards and portable card games to provide troops with moments of relaxation, laughter, and connection while serving away from home. These simple games help relieve stress and boost morale during downtime.
Requested donation items include:
• Playing Cards
• UNO
• Phase 10
• Skip-Bo
• Five Crowns
• Waterproof Cards
• Travel Games
Community members may donate by:
• Dropping off items at My Place Hotel in Mitchell
